In case you missed it, yesterday – September 28 – was Family Day. I have to be honest and tell you that I’ve never heard of Family Day. It must be fairly new because I haven’t even seen any Hallmark cards celebrating it. What I did notice is that President Obama signed in proclamation declaring Family Day and in doing so, redefined family. Read more »

Last March, Sally Harpold, an Indiana grandmother of triplets, bought two boxes of cold medication in less than a week. Together, the two boxes contained 3.6 grams of pseudoephedrine, putting her in violation of the state’s methamphetamine-fighting law, which forbids the purchase of more than three grams by one person in a seven-day period.
