A Candidate for this years Darwin Award
I don’t mean to make light of anyones death but sometimes you just got to wonder about people. I mean really, who uses a torch to try and unstick a loaded gun? Apparently this guy. I’m going to remove his name to protect his families privacy.
A Newaygo County (Michigan) man died trying to clean a muzzleloader he found near a dumpster. The accidental shooting happened Big Prairie Township.
Deputies say when they arrived they found the victim dead from a gunshot wound. After investigating police learned the man and his father used a torch to try and free a plug that was stuck in the weapon.
Once hot enough, the muzzleloader fired, hitting him in the abdomen. He died at the scene.
