Audi Sales Up - Ford Sales Down

I’m not exactly sure what to make of this, other than that I’m sure glad I don’t work for any business that’s related to the auto industry. Things seem to be getting worse every day.

Audi Sales Up 37.5% in February
- Audi of America, Inc. today announced a 37.5% increase in February 2007 sales compared to the same period last year. Sales totaled 6,609, for the month. Sales in 2007 have reached 13,008 vehicles, an increase of 19.4% versus the same period last year.

Ford’s February Sales Off 13% - Ford Motor Company’s February U.S. sales declined 13 percent compared with a year ago. Sales to daily rental companies were 30 percent lower than a year ago as the company continued its planned reduction in this market.
