Go To Prison for Selling a Malfunctioning Rifle? This is WRONG

David Olofson was sentenced to 30 months in a federal prison in Minnesota. He was convicted in federal court of transferring a malfunctioning semi-automatic firearm which the ATF claimed was a machine gun.

On Thursday, January 22, 2009 oral arguments were presented in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Here’s Lou Dobbs from CNN reporting on the story.
